The nations of Gor'Baladh and Gor'Anyan share a border, but little else. Baladh worships the new Gods, while Anyan's people revere beings whom they call collectively The Eldest. Perhaps by The Eldest themselves, Anyan has been incited to war against Baladh, and is poised to invade. On the border of Anyan and Baladh lies the province called Garnen, whose lord rules from the castle Or'Garnen. Or'Garnen, should it be captured, would serve as an ideal staging point for Anyan's invasion of Baladh. The Siege of Or'Garnen is centred on the holding or recapture of Or'Garnen. Even after so many years, Siege will be the first solo campaign in Myth to feature a branching storyline. Each branch will be three to five levels long, with four possible endings and nine levels (one of which is a secret level). The enemy AI will exceed anything previously seen in Myth, with squads acting independantly and choosing advantageous terrain from which to fight when they can, retreating when they feel overpowered and other intelligent group behaviours. |
