Oh, as for running under OS X on an intel Mac -- no problem. Hell, you could play Myth running Vista (gasp!) on an Intel Mac. Get the latest patch (1.6) from the Tain (I think) and you'll be in business.

Baak's Artillery Pak allows you to substitute one of many third-party artillery units (see below) for one or more type of normal unit.
