I'm involved. Registration ends in around 6 days for the first in the series (Taste my Blade). Melee-units-only 1v1 sounds interesting.

If anyone wants an overview of the tournament without having to wade through the traditional micro-sub-divided forum topics, the main page on playmyth has a good blurb about this (series of) tournaments.
Lots of Myth stuff at http://mythgraveyard.org.
Sometimes I put hard to find stuff in my my Udogs folder.

If it goes well there'll be a lot more but we need initial support.

Hmm according to the rules you have 12 min to completely eliminate the opposing player. Just like tic-tac-toe this a theoretical draw: start a fight and if you're starting to lose then just run away with a ghol to secure a draw. Wait, why would you even bother to start a fight since if you're starting to win the other can also run away with a ghol? This is not interesting.

I'm sure there are tons of other ways to exploit the rules in this mini-tournament but since the main idea of the whole thing seems to be to have fun and get some semi-competetive play I don't think you'll see many people fleeing for 5+ mins just to avoid a loss..

I'll play.

Well registraiton's over now Helmet. Last minute sign ups might happen but you'd have to as the TO. Very soon there's a 2v2 though.
