there are two ways to deal with limits

1. Limit your map design
2. raise the limits
10 years into the game, we don't need such limits, so I'm saying raise the god damn limits. I wonder how fast a core i7 loads myth...

to complete pyro's answer. Some attacks, like dwarfs, are set to "fixed pitch" which means they always fire at the same angle. What this mean is that the projectile will have different velocity depending on the range of the attack. A normal dwarf might have a velocity of 0.250, but if you ...

I think graydon meant 1s as an example because I'm pretty sure by memory that warriors start with 0.1 ?

What's weird is that recovery time of -1 is faster than 0. So basically, a very well vetted warrior will start to be very good at 3 kills. (-0.1recovery)

Colormapping help

Can anyone explain to me what's happening here. I am using souly's herowars map and when I import in loathing it doesnt look nowhere near what it looks like in photoshop. In the screenshot, the right part is the indexed .pct image (240 colors) http://hl.udogs.net/files/Quick%20Uploads/Image%206.png
